Who knows. Around central Texas in October you often find people having "Oktoberfest" events. So it's just become kind of traditional to seek one out. There's also one event that spans into November called "Wurstfest" in New Braunfels south of Austin. It's been going on for years. Anyway, I hadn't been to any yet and was feeling the need for some good schnitzel or bratwurst. ;-) Good question. Who knows.
